4 Morning Rituals for Productivity
- Stop Snoozing—If you set the alarm for 6, but know you will snooze for 30 minutes…just set the alarm for later and get that extra uninterrupted sleep.
- Don’t check Your phone In Bed— If you wake up and reach for the phone to see what you have missed while you were sleeping, you are just starting the day on the wrong foot. Use that time to meditate, relax, do some breathing techniques. That email can wait until you are at least OUT of bed
- Skipping Breakfast—I do this all the time…I rely on coffee as my wake up and eat later in the morning. This will sabotage any fitness goals you have. Start the day with a protein shake, a piece of toast with almond butter or nutrition bar—all are easy to take with you on-the-go
- Skimping on Sleep for a Morning workout—once in a while it is ok BUT I think we can all agree a week of short sleeps throws us off in all areas of our life AND doesn’t help our work out
