There was a report done by Social Progress Imperative that ranked global countries based on factors like human rights, needs and wellbeing.
Finland took the top spot and scored of 90.09 out of 100 points, while Canada scored 89.49 points….but lets just round that up and say we’re tied for first! Technicalities…am I right!?!
Canada also did extremely well in areas such as personal rights, which deals with issues like tolerance. We also ranked 14th forthings such as low race-driven discrimination and violence, and tied it up with countries like Denmark and Australia for having low crime levels….boooyaw!!!
And on top of the fact that for the first time in Canadian history, we had our very own Prime Minister Justin Trudeau march in the Pride Parade in Toronto this past weekend… I’d say that deserve a massive high 5!!!
