It has only been a few weeks since Sears Canada announced their liquidation sales would take place across the country, and some stores are already in complete disarray.
A YouTube video has surfaced showing the chaos and mess of the Sears liquidation sale in Fairview Mall, Toronto.
Shoppers are seen picking through scattered boxes of items attempting to match up pairs of shoes that are sewn around the store floor.
The video was taken on October 22, 2017.

All this for a 20% discount?
While shoppers scavenge the remaining products, Sears Canada’s executives and managers are getting paid big bonuses as closeout sales begin. The company is rewarding key workers $9.2M in retention bonuses. 43 senior management and key employees will receive up to $7.6 million, and 116 employees of closing stores will receive up to $1.6 million.
Meanwhile, thousands of Sears employees — some who have worked 20, or 30+ years at the company — are laid off without severance.
Customers are also feeling duped, having purchased extended warranties which are now rendered useless after Sears Canada announced they would stop honouring warranties after October 18, 2017.
It appears to be a messy end for the 65-year-old chain.
